RedRing Shooting Instructions

Shooting instructions

Shooting side shots with Redring

1. Align the gun - calmly and relaxed

When you point at a target, a side shot on clay pigeon or bird, make sure that Redring® is well behind the target. A common mistake is to start too close to the target, resulting in a badly accelerating swing.

2. When the starting image is correct

When the starting image is correct you can start the swing towards the firing image. Swing on using your whole body rotating from the ankles and the hips.

3. When shooting

When shooting, the red ring shall have passed the target up to the rehearsed firing image.

4. Continue the after-swing

Remember to continue the after-swing and keep the butt of the gun pressed to the cheek throughout the swing.

Shooting front-going shots with Redring

1. Align the gun - calmly and relaxed

It is essential that the gun is moved forward simultaneously as the butt of the gun is firmly put against the cheek. Everything must be done in a "pointing" movement so the barrel of the gun isn’t lowered in relation to the target.

2. No need for correction

The red ring should come directly to target without any need for correction.

3. The ring circles the target

When the ring circles the target, fire and it’s almost certainly a sure hit.
